In the Second World War, Soviet Union wasn’t able to invade Finland, no matter how they tried. Soviet Union had staggering material advantage, they had ten times more troops than Finland and they had the noble cause of communism to burn in their hearts. Still Finland was able to repel the Soviet Union remained an independent state. Finnish secret? Stronger soldiers, better skills, avoid straight confrontation and flank the enemy.

DEGENERATION

Finland’s army has come a long way from the good old glory days when one Finnish soldier was worth ten Soviet Union soldiers. Now the ratio is more like one Russian soldier is worth 0,956 Finnish soldiers. Outlook is not too good for Finnish army as the basic fitness demonstrated by obese Finnish men is going down in flames.

GAME ON!

Army has now decided to spend 300 000 euros to buy Nintendo Wii game stations to garrisons all over Finland. Army is trying to motivate the privates to work on their physical fitness. Now all they need is big boobed personal trainers to lead Nintendo workouts. Come to Finland, join the army.

I wonder if they are going to get Call of Duty and get some battle training done at the same time.
