Well George, I must tip my hat in your honor, but have you thought about it from the following angle? When you put your phone in front of all other matters, you are always making decision to side track something else and as a result divide your attention and time, without focus, less is achieved.

One thing I am constantly bewildered are the people who take calls in meetings and simply answer - "I'm in a meeting I can't talk, I'll call you later." Now what the hell does that give for the caller? Nothing but the time lost listening this fascinating information, in the mean time, meeting is also disturbed.

I truly appreciate the people who can disregard incoming calls while in a meeting. It is a good test of character and makes me reassured that no matter in good or bad times I can trust them. Opportunistic behavior like trying to capture every chance that might give any benefit, in my mind, will lead into a relationship with doubts and dishonesty.

Not that I'm criticizing you or saying this is what you are. This thought just popped into my head after I read how laser focused you are to stay available to others. Actually I would really appreciate it if I knew that I can always reach you with slightest effort. That makes you a go-to guy while looking for any kind of support.

Personally, I am addicted to all sorts of online communication devices. It just that there always seems to be something that needs handling, following-up with or managed. It's not uncommon for me to get out of bed at 2AM because I just had a great idea for my next project.

For this reason, I set absolutely no limits on when I do or do not answer the phone. On the toilet or in the shower - money never sleeps (at least, until you get electrocuted).
