Sales stories carnival volume 5
Sunday, April 5, 2009 22:11I’m a huge fan of Ruth St. Denis and because of that you have the delight of seeing some of her photos. In a matter of a fact January 20th was her 129th birthday and I didn’t mention it then, so I mention it now. Let’s start this sales carnival with a photo of Ruth.
Hard to appreciate these great people that are gone. But what do you expect, as people don’t even appreciate our current fellow men. Nevertheless I’m sure you can appreciate a beauty of this photo.
GOALS
Traditionalists, I mean the sales people who believe in quantifiable things, are going to be in sync with this submission. JLScottRevolution.com tossed here a post about personal and business goals and the whole difficulty of balancing them.
In my opinion, everybody knows that success requires setting the focus solely on business. When you have success, only then you are in position to have personal happiness. Why I’m saying this? Because if you are a happy person there is nothing that will drive you to grand business triumphs.
Sure you might want to work harder to bring bit better quality of life for your family, but still, if you are in happy situation - you want to maintain that status quo. Wanna be somebody? Be unhappy with motivation to become happy.
MOTIVATION
Gavin Ingham should already be a familiar name for those of you who have followed this carnival. This time he presents a post about motivation and in the perfect link baiting style he presents ten of them.
Like I wrote up there, being unhappy and having motivation to change that condition is the formula to success. I’m amazed to see how successfully many make money in internet websites are substituting that motivation part with hope marketing. You know those… spend mere 97 USD per month and we give you autopilot internet business.
CHANGE
The best source for motivation is a change - any change. I happen to have just the right submission for closing this carnival. It came from Sharp Brains and it deals with change. This submission is really something and if you only have time for one, let it be this one (bit useless to mention it down here, right). Mental autopilot and routine are the curse words of this post.
Here ends the very special Ruth St. Denis themed carnival that had very little to do with her. Perhaps the best connection that I can come up with is her enthusiasm to try out new things and create something remarkable.
As usual there were many submissions about various medical remedies, internet marketing products, make money programs etc. For those submitters I’d like to say, don’t give up, finally you find your place in the world.
