Separate the lead generation from the rest of the sales process
Friday, June 19, 2009 1:37I believe that any successful company has special relative strength in the area of sales when compared to their competitors. Good sales department secures strong revenue stream for the company and enables business development.
THIS DRAG CALLED SALES FULFILLMENT
Normally lead generation is the part of the sales process, which is considered as the great time sink. If this could be outsourced much more resources could be focused on actual selling. Depending on the product, the sales fulfillment part of the sales process can be a major undertaking. During this stage the sales person is usually the contact person who must oversee that everything goes smoothly, however, usually things are so fucked up that you need a sex therapist to sort it out. All that time is away from lead generation and new deal closing. In the worst case you end up completing the mastodon project only to notice that you have nothing in your pipeline and it will take months to get new orders in the books.
HOW TO SEPARATE THE SALES PROJECT INTO MANAGEABLE PIECES?
Until tomorrow, my dear opossums.

Is referring to your readers as “my dear opossums” your new marketing strategy?
Note to self: Never google image search opossum…ever….ever again..
Anywho, it’s impossible to simply scan your posts because they have these random moments of hilarity I’ve become so fond of..lol

Uh… I pour my heart and soul on these digital pages and you comment my theme? I suppose you copy paste this message to every blog that you can think of while mistakenly thinking that it will have some meaning.
I’m not that interested and my special reason for that is that I’m sure you present advertising material as reward. Let’s say, I could give you my ebook (worth 197USD) as a prize and get a link in return. Doesn’t seem like a good deal in relation to the traffic level your site has. With this logic those prizes are crap.
Maybe you are referring to my good work in choosing the theme?

Melody, that was just me paying my respects to “Dame Edna” You should check some of her shows… Youtube should have them. Here’s one:
When I was still young and innocent lad I saw this show and afterwards I wondered for days how strangely big she was. I suppose it tainted me for good I just didn’t realize it then. Don’t you think Sean Connery to be just a tad daft, eh?
