Politics is sales

Huffington Post had an article about stimulus plan edging forward and closer to becoming reality. Interestingly almost every republican voted against the bill. Politics in US is not like it is in Europe there is stronger benefit driven bipartisan power click, because it is always one against another. Now republicans are not working together with democrats and by acting like this they expect to gain something for themselves. Only the majority that democrats have inches the process forward.
SALES IS POLITICS
Many times there are similar situations in sales process. Manager of one division would like to do the deal, but other divisions want to oust the person to gain internal control of resources or there might be other similar situations. Even the deal would benefit the company in general the salesperson is not able to close the deal because of internal conflict. Poor sales doesn’t know what went wrong.
