Many people set their worth by making as few mistakes as possible and end up doing everything in a safe way. Playing it safe produces less mistakes and less awkward situations where people might be judgmental or mistake you as a poor sod. Let’s presume that this style of work will tally you one crapparooney per week and it almost drives you to the brink of mental despair.
RIVER OF MISTAKES
In sales you have to have different mindset, because your team is sure to deliver customers one long continuous stream of imperfection and the poor old saleswoman is the one to communicate that flow of storm clouds to blue-eyed customer. Face the storm as what it is - water. It’ll hit you, wet you but eventually dry.
