Fake Money Blog

Yes, just like a lazy fat person on a diet, I broke. I opened the Google Analytics and tooka peek. After some messing around I noticed that it sure enough was the last day of the month and technically I didn’t break. Mixed feelings here, but mostly because of my traffic results.

So much traffic, but nobody is moving. Helmut Sutherland had to obey the call of nature and parked his car in a hurry. Huge amount of people who congested the crash site came to check Helmut's peculiar load of goods to sell that he was transporting on the back of his car - toilet paper for left-handed people. Miraculous stuff!

RESULTS
January 2009 I got myself 165 visits by 108 visitors and that sucks (oh, thanks to you who dropped by). If that would be the tally only for one day it would still be something to improve and fast. That is the goal, which I’m now going to aim at. 165 times average 30 brings us close to 5 000 visits per month, which is already much better. I’m going to presume grande 100% monthly growth rate in traffic as this blog is barely out of cradle. This means that June would be the month that sees the passing of 5 000 visits yard post. How can I wait? Daily peak was 17 visits and I don’t know what I’m gonna do about it.

WHY THEY COME?
To my sad surprise most of the link traffic came from health carnival where I posted an article, which was about loosing weight. So they come to get some weight management stuff and get exposed to sales secrets. Not a good match I’d say.

Second shoch was the organic search engine traffic - every single search term had fake money in a form or another. Obviously this is the sinister lair of counterfeit cash, just rat me to CIA and you’ll be in a lot of trouble. Somehow I don’t wonder at all that these people spent an average of 8 seconds on this site. I did write a post about Hong Kong airport and for some reason Google thinks that my money is all about Hong Kong fake money. Actually I should probably stop mentioning this it’ll just strengthen the misunderstanding.

Direct traffic is probably caused by me and paid traffic is still in the works. Other sources I have not really tried and this social media frenzy is anyway just another stream of link traffic.

-Marry me and I'll be good for you, honest... I think. It would still take years before Mr. Andersson could get his sales speech right, but this had to do for now. Ultimately he could increase prospecting and try the proposal to every passing woman, finally there was one who said yes.

EASY MONEY?
This is not exactly what I would call easy money. I have been posting every now and then and results are really mixed. This is going to get worse before it gets better and before that there is lot of work to be made. Such is sales.
