On the bottom of the piracy food chain

Anything you want, whenever you want. Price? 95% off from the Louis Vuitton store prices. The reason for this special price... we cut the middle man. Click the photo to see more of shinyai's photos.
You have probably heard of pirated CDs and DVDs not to mention many other product copies openly available on some shady street markets especially in Asia.
FOOD CHAIN OF PRODUCT PIRACY
The food chain of product piracy goes so that someone makes the original product and either the product is absolutely fantastic or it has absolutely fantastic marketing resulting into a huge success. That’s all product forgers need to copy a best seller for their dealers.
First the order goes to a trusted man who organizes the manufacturing. By distributing the order for several locations one can save time, but since it is about making a crime it is better to distribute the subcontracting and assemble the final product in a more secret location.
When the manufacturing is done the product is shipped through various wholesale dealers to ever smaller operators until we hit the street where someone is trying to make ends meets by selling the goods with hefty discount. These people can be private entrepreneurs or hired stand operators. Stream of customers passes by and nobody cares anything but the price.
FOOD CHAIN OF ONLINE PIRACY
There is completely different food chain in online piracy. I am not talking about digital physical products piracy like DVD etc. I talking about the ordinary online information industry. Out here we have our little stands trying to sell an idea or an ebook or I don’t know what…
It is easy to just take from someone and use it. No barriers to the market. I could copy copyblogger’s article without any difficulty and publish it on my own site. I couldn’t get too far with it because I would have to keep on stealing to produce similar stuff and that would get me caught.
Also the environment is not the same as on the street market. There is no constant stream of indifferent prospects walking by the stand. To gain solid traffic one needs more than tricks and stolen content. You need trust and that only comes with time.
MY EXPERIENCE
Keep in mind all that above and riddle me this. Why would anyone want to steal a feeble banner that I designed on this site? This person here presents my red question mark banner and it points directly to a page where I can ask anything. How funny is that?
Even more funny it becomes as you notice complete copy pasted articles from different media. No wonder paper magazines are doing badly, online content steals from them and then runs it for free. Anyway, it would be interesting to get a good look into the mind of this sort of person. For now my guess is that they are so stupid that they can’t see that this road will not lead anywhere. In practice it means that they think that as long as they copy paste stuff to their site they will become online money making millionaires.
MY ADVICE
Take the time (every single time you meet this situation) to DMCA their asses back to analog times. I mentioned how funny this seems to be. What is really outrageously funny with this is that this person left a comment on this blog and asked for a link. You can find it over here. Something good came out from Wayne’s contact. I got an idea for a post and also my blog saw the first nofollow link. Thanks Wayne.

Your domain is funny, no money is free, no money is easy. I tired of make money online, I find it impossible, because no one click on my ads. I am tired~~~~:-(

I hope those two blogs of your’s are not the shining example of your hard work, because if you expect success after two weeks, you might want to try out something else than general blogging. I’d say that setting up a site that promotes pretty Chinese girls would be received with much more intense enthusiasm.

Well Mr. Chen I just have to return your kindness and write a post about your site. I’m going to do it tomorrow, as the Saturday is the only real work day for me with this blog.
However I think that two weeks is still too soon to expect a jackpot.
The way you can make money with your pretty girl site is to tie it together with some personals site (advertising) or then start a real service as a marriage agent (service)
About the photo, just click it to see where it leads. Not my photo, but I’ve been at that market and it wasn’t the best that I’ve visited in Taiwan.

The first thing you suggest is to tie my site to some personal’s site (advertising), does it mean to my site to advertise or promote other blogger’s bolgs? If you mean that, will they buy ads on my site and why they will buy? The second, a marriage agent, I think I have no idea how to do this, because I think it is too hard for only one person, it should be done by many people, I think.

Your site should have meaningful content that attracts exactly the kind of people that you need in order to make money. If you sell advertising directly you have to find sites that need male audience. You could also check various advertising networks that automate the whole thing. To find more information on advertising networks you can check John Chow’s website. You could also become an affiliate of some international personals site and make money if some of your visitors sign up with the site.
From money making point of view, it is more important to have an idea how to make money with traffic that the idea for a fun website. If you only focus on building the site you might end up creating a site that attracts traffic, which you can’t use to make money. Therefore, find a way in which you would like to make money and then build a site around that idea.
About pretty Chinese girls… I would like to know what’s going on with 王菲.
