February is almost gone, right? Still I am going to attempt something reasonably difficult and comment so many times that I get to be on John Chow top commentator list.

When I started this blog, I set comments as one of the ways to increase traffic. Now that I’ve been doing this for couple of months, I must say that just this week’s Monday was a real eye opener. There are so many things going on with comments, ranging from discussion to complex strategies and use of plug-ins.

One especially interesting tip was one that had something to do with Technorati and another interesting was the one that benefitted from posting comments in blogs, which have Top Commentator plug-in. This plug-in will give site wide links, because it works like blogroll and gets placed on every page. So, commenting in large blog has potentially huge payback.

ANNOUNCING JOHN CHOW MISSION
I decided to check this Top Commentator plug-in tip immediately, but here is the snag - there are many commentators on John Chow and I have to be able to write so that I won’t get canned based on poor quality of post comments. I suppose I have to use more time commenting per post than average “Great Post” Joe. Report coming in early March. Now you can go and read something else.
