More like market shakes that much drastic were changes in video game console markets during year 2008. Nintendo Wii came out of nowhere and cleaned the table with their sales success. Previous winners had to give way and they too swapped positions. Great analysis on this at Ars Technica. I recommend highly, you might learn something about positioning your product.
