10 000 IS A CROWD

Our dearest friend Ms. Enthusiasm is here again and everybody have made the trip to see her. Market place is swarming with people and of the whole mass of 10 000 you catch only a handful and then you try to see them all again.

There were some wrinkles in the service, but I showed them by using more force than normally.

DO YOU REALLY FOLLOW?

…Or do you just holler? How many blogs you follow? How many twits you follow? I prefer smart people and it is difficult to find more than handful among the masses who write up a tweet and then scavengers retweet it until it has traveled around the world for seven times. It’s almost like taking off your dirty socks and throwing them somewhere on the floor waiting mom to come and pick them up after you are done.

FLOODING ALL STATIONS

Very few messages are seen, because they are immediately buried by new marketing love and that leads everybody pushing their agenda even stronger. Something needs fixing fast.

NOT A SALES TOOL

I’m a salesman and that’s why it is so difficult for me to like Twitter. It is like a mindless hired hand at a tradefare, shouting the oneliner time and time again. When you go to talk to the girl she just points you to their information and continues the howling. They don’t sell anything and have marginally negative impact on visitors.

The only good thing is that they might end up being photographed to an industry journal wearing your logo. Oh, almost forgot the other one - they make you look like you are doing something, so people with bosses end up using them.

WHAT TOOL IS IT THEN?

I think we better wait until tomorrow.
