Theme writing

Themes are easy and so are schedules and routines because they give us the box where to stay and not to cross the line. Big organisations love these things as they keep workers in check and managers can just focus on numbers. Small one man home office sweat boxes are expected to take another road. This road is imagined to be long and winding in a creative and quick sort of manner.

WHAT IS GOING ON?
Why is it that so many small organisations are not able to be flexible even they are expected to be? Now I’m especially thinking about blogs. Almost every blog that I come across accidentally is almost solely recycling old news. Read a story at Boing Boing and then write a summary of it sometimes with added personal opinion then repeat this process twice a day. This is a recipe not prescribed by your nearest blogging doctor. Another example of poor business are theme posts like my Monday “promotion pen post”, personally I skip most of these posts on blogs that I follow. They rarely have any extra value in them.

WHY IT GOES ON?
These methods enable us to be mediocre or below mediocre. These methods make us have the feeling that we are doing something and that we are in control. Even small operations like to pretend to have big things done with little effort. Average is good place to be if you want to be happy, but if you want to go places, better start taking other roads to success than the paths most commonly trod.
