That fashionable ROI
Saturday, April 11, 2009 20:19I invest about 30 Euros for this site per year. I have roughly 1 000 visitors per month and that amount has been growing by 50% per month. If this rate remains more or less constant I would have about 25 600 monthly visitors by the end of December 2009. Clearly unreachable goal with the method that I am running this blog.
FIRST ESTIMATION
However, with few calculations I get total visitor amount to tally about 75 000 yearly visitors. Using that to divide my profit for the site present excellent financial result of -0,00004 euro per visitor. The more visitors I get the less I make loss per one. This translates into working hard to make less relative losses. I would call this insanity or hobby.
SECOND ESTIMATION
Let’s approach this from another angle. Let’s presume that I’ll get no growth what so ever and I’ll have fixed 1 000 monthly visitors from now on. Same calculation produces about 10 000 yearly visitors (I bet you wonder how I came up with that number, by all means, do wonder). The value of one visitor in this case is -0,003 euro. Still non-profitable hobby.
THIRD ROAD
I have the age-old idea here to throw to the table. I should make some money with this site to cover the costs and still keep it as a hobby. Looks like revenue per visitor should be close to 0,005 euro.

November 26th was the first official post. Bought the domain several months earlier, but as it always goes, got caught up in reading pornographic novels about used car salesman who has fixation to Plymouth Fury Mark III and refuses to sell any other cars. Naturally he starves and the only woman he meets is the diner waitress and even that relationship happens over the counter. I’m sure you know those books…

Yep, I’m mister interesting. Since we share this same affection to salespeople porn literature, we should strike our heads together and create a fusion of our current blogging and salespeople porn. Just think of it… blogger all alone in the midst of dirty kitchen wear and laundry, fervently typing away and telling stories of grand future, present and past to equally sorry ass blogger on the other side of an IM… We could catapult school of realism to new literary heights.

My, such extraordinary words for such a hilarious comment..

But what shall we call this revolution of awesomeness?
Hell, whatever you’d be willing to write I’d certainly read it..
