I believe in order to have a blog business, one that is successful too you need more than just “great content”. Promotion/marketing, hard work, great content, appealing look and the rest all these points connect together to have something well “great” that people will love!

So true, great points Salwa. Any business can be run solely based on long term effort and steady service. It’s those fantastic success stories like Microsoft, Google and Nokia, which have gotten the steady work and the great content into the same package.

The point that I would like to make for everybody here is that what you do doesn’t have to be something that people love. I just don’t understand where this attitude of love, great content, passion comes from inside the blogging world - Seth Godin - maybe. Most people are not enthusiastic about e.g. food, but there we are, buying something to eat every day. What we need is reliable source. Just write about anything you want and do it long enough and you’ll get results.
