Get to work
Thursday, January 22, 2009 23:57That’s what I had to tell myself. You see, for a while I slipped into my previous routine, which included email checking, RSS reading and some articles and news. Now you see the pattern. If I spend my time reading and learning, I don’t have any time left to concentrate on output. Lack of output is really a big problem in internet. But I did experience an epiphany of sorts.
EPIPHANY
Because I occasionally have such a difficult time focusing on working in internet instead of playing in internet, then there just have to be huge amount of similar people as I am. Since I belong into this huge group of people I also know how we think. This realization gives me tremendous competitive edge, actually we all have the potential to have this edge. Feels bit like a matrix moment one wakes up and others keep on dreaming. But there’s the hard part - how to keep on going?
ESTABLISH A HABIT
For me this seems like the only way to go. Reasons are always good source of motivation but moment’s happiness is often more tempting than logic. Feelings are fickle, they come and go so a way of life is the answer. If I manage to live and enjoy my life so that running an internet business becomes part of it, then I’m in it for the long-term.
COMBINATION
Combining the blink of a zen and habit of a lifetime I am on my way to become free of workspace. Can’t wait, but I must.
